Faith at the Cross-roads

A uniquely Christian perspective on all things The Middle East and Holy land.

Acknowledging how our different lenses affect the way that we see the world is an obvious starting point before taking a head first, deep dive into a region as powerful as the Middle East.

Indeed, the uniquely Christian perspective is central to the numerous debates around surrounding our troublesome neighborhood. Indeed, there is an integral relationship between Christ and the holy land, both in his own time, and by transforming the outside world thereafter, as the message spread in his wake.

Therefore, Christians, who are typically watching Jews and Muslims battle for holy spaces, are invited to participate in this important gathering with us, in-person or online, to discuss issues of faith and frailty, on both the goodness of words, and the harshness of wars.

We believe the uniquely Christian perspective and presence should be cherished within this grand assembly of voices and narratives, and likewise should be informed and well engaged with the topic at hand, in order to reclaim a seat at the table, and a voice of authority and integrity, in a region often plagued by wanting violence and inhumanity.

The Christian message fuses nicely with our search for meaning in times of struggle and war, and it is indeed no coincidence that Christ came forth from these sacred, and sometimes sacrilegious lands.

We welcome followers in Christ to learn about their own community as well as invite other communities to learn about a uniquely Christian role in the holy land.

Whether we are learning about Christian topics, or we are Christian students learning about Jewish, Israeli, or Palestinian topics, honoring a Christian-friendly voice, is essential to the work that we do.
